Kieron O'BrienChief Executive Officer, Board MemberKieron O’Brien is the chief executive officer of ExpertMarkets. In this capacity, Kieron plays a vital role in company's strategy, direction and development. Over the past 12 years, Kieron has been active as a C-level executive, advisor or board member of multiple early and middle stage technology companies covering the Internet, VoIP, Software Products, and Corporate Services industries. Most recently, he was the Founder and CEO of PacketExchange, Ltd, which he grew into a leading Global Internet Infrastructure and Content Delivery Network provider winning numerous awards including “Deloitte Technology Fast50”, Red Herring’s “Europe 100” and recognized by the Sunday Times (London) “Tech Track 100” as the 14th fastest growing technology company in the United Kingdom. Kieron was responsible for raising multiple rounds of capital in addition to leading PacketExchange’s expansion into Europe, Asia and the United States through a strategy of growing organically and through acquisition. Prior to starting PacketExchange, Ltd, Kieron was Chief Technology Officer for Level 3 Communications in Europe where he directed a multi-billion dollar capital expenditure and operating budget. Before this he followed a successful R&D career in digital and optical networking equipment with a successful business development role at Alcatel where he brought in more than $500 million of contracts. Kieron received an education in Electronics and Software Engineering in the British Army. Isaac ApplbaumBoard MemberIsaac’s 11 years of investment experience includes being a founding general partner of Opus Capital and a partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners (a multi-billion dollar fund). He has had a number of successful exits, including 724 Solutions, where he was a seed investor and saw the company through to its $1 billion exit. As founder and CEO of Concorde Solutions Inc. he led the sale of the company to Bank of America, where he became a senior vice president and advisor to the strategic investments group. He has also held senior positions at Advanced Technology International and Unify Corporation. Currently, he serves as a special advisor for economic development to the Israeli Prime Minister as well as president of the California Israel Chamber of Commerce. He is also Chairman of The Western Wall Heritage Foundation. Isaac serves on a number of boards, including the Koret Israel Economic Development Funds, Vector Intersect Acquisition Corporation and Modern Bank Corporation. Raghav NandagopalBoard MemberRaghav has over 20 years of operating, technology and investing experiences with over 9 years in the PE industry. He focuses on investments in the Financial Services, Media, Communications and Government sectors. Most recently he was the Senior Vice President of Bank of America Capital Advisors ($3.2B under management) and a senior member of the Investment Committee. He joined Bank of America through the acquisition of U.S. Trust where he served as the Co-CEO of the PE funds and head of direct investment programs. Raghav has extensive experience in sourcing, diligence, syndication, execution and exit management as a lead director and has played leadership role in raising over $350MM for portfolio companies. Some of his exits include NetLogic (NETL), Pilot Software (SAP), Gyration (Thomson SE), PowerSmart (Microchip), VST (Mosaid), Cydelity (Digital Envoy), and had oversight for Genoptix (GXDX). He has held 11 board seats during his tenure and has strong relationships with tier-1 venture, growth equity and buyout firms as coinvestment and LP partners. Prior to U.S. Trust, he was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company where he served clients in communications, media, wireless and financial services sectors. He has also held senior management positions at AT&T Capital and Constellation Energy. He started his career as a Senior Consultant with Accenture in the late 1980's. Currently Raghav serves on the boards of Exigen Insurance Solutions, ExpertMarkets, Execue, and is an advisor to Cava Capital. Raghav holds a BS from University of Madras, MBA from the University of Bombay and an MS from Penn State, and has also completed executive programs at MIT and Carnegie Mellon. |
